A flint slope? Yes, trailblazer has selected to conquer flint slope.
When I put forward a plan to climb flint slope, replies received back are like this in all events:
“Flint Slope? Never , Never!”
But after a long joyous march which I started with a song in my heart and a firm determination in my soul, I reached the lower end of the slope and attempted to scale it with my eyes. What appears to me is unconquerable and stiff slope with broken flints of various sizes which can work as a sharp knife or a whetted blade.Needless to say that there is no human trace around in these conditions where survival is the prime requisite.
Slope is asking me to go back and sing a joyous song by selecting another way,yet, I am not going to deter from my path and will march ahead to meet the summit.

I agree and disagree at the same time on this one!!!
Agree, yes our “back of minds” will never allow or suggest us to conquer the flint slope (over here I am assuming flint slope is something out of our comfort zone or something different, what we are not habituated to do!!). The only reason being, we tend to select the easier path, which is not to be blamed on us but on our basic natures!!!
But the irony of our destiny or life is we are always forced to face the flint slopes (sizes or obstacles do not matter). Agree not everyone is lucky enough to reach the destination, but I think reaching the destination/winning does not matter. What matters is the journey, and how you approach towards destination!!!
Disagree on the idea that “there is no human trace in those severe conditions”… I rather think that the best of any human being is brought out when he/she is facing the adverse conditions… Yes, survival is the prime requisite and everyone will be fighting for it… but the emotions or the instincts of right will be there (which is the basic difference between humans and other species!!!).
Correct me, if I am thinking wrong!!!
